INT, the leading upstream data visualization software company based in Houston, seeks an experienced Front-End JavaScript Software Developer to continue our steady growth. This position will focus on web-based, scientific applications and development of 2D and/or 3D specialized graphical applications. You’ll work alongside skilled, passionate developers in a challenging, collaborative, open environment. Job Description:
The day-to-day tasks and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Software design, development (programming), and testing (full SDLC)
  • Work with product managers or clients to identify business requirements
  • Provide technical expertise in the evaluation of software solutions
  • Troubleshoot applications
  • Provide technical expertise to clients as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or a related discipline (required)
  • 3-5 years of experience in professional software development and in object-oriented software system design
  • Expert level knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Experience in Java, C++, or C# a plus

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience working on large scale, complex web applications
  • Strong understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular or Vue.js)
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Understanding of OOP and Design Patterns a must
  • Additional skills are a plus: WebGL / Three.js, Node.js, WebSocket, Jenkins CI/CD
