Anadrill

The Challenge
Anadrill wanted to rebuild the next major version of PowerPlan, an analytic and interactive drilling software. Project requirements included project-based documents and templates that were designed to minimize the application code base and to extend application flexibility. Anadrill also wanted the end user to be able to perform different tasks using an intuitive interface that was common throughout all applications and have the ability to customize by quickly modifying plot templates.

The INT Solution
INT provided Carnac to enable the 2D visual displays. Because INT and Anadrill worked together on the project, all components were extensible and modular with clearly defined interfaces between components.

The Results
Anadrill's customers could interact with a wide variety of visualization parameters and save these settings for future use. Visual editing was supplemented with precise control over critical parameters (e.g. sizes and plot positions in true coordinates). The general architecture of the application was composed of four major sub-systems: XML-based engine, View Browser, Montage Table, and Data Navigation and Processing Center.
