Web-enabled Log Viewing and Interaction
INT's
Enterprise Log Viewer, based on J/WellLog, which
is a part of our J/GeoToolkit,
implements the concept of ASP applied to the area of scientific
visualization for the upstream petroleum industry. The Enterprise
Log Viewer allows a company or an ASP provider to manage and
deliver the capability to view log data within a web browser, from
a data center across a wide area network.

Benefits
INT's Enterprise Log Viewer brings modern visualization to the
user's desktop without the need for complex application
installation or maintenance. It offers the following
benefits:
- Seamless
access to data in a central location, by any authorized
user.
- Deployable
to users as a thick client for full
interactivity or as a thin client without
requiring a browser plugin.
- Software
administration reduced to a minimum - the software only needs
to be installed and maintained in one location. No license
administration is necessary on client machines.
- Cross-platform support -
the application is written completely in Java and will run on
any machine supporting the Java 2 platform.
- Extensible
and configurable solution - the viewer can be easily modified
to meet any requirements.
- Flexible
data format support - data access is currently available for
LAS and OpenSpirit. Database connectivity and support for other
data formats can be added easily through a server side API.
- Secure -
Authentication and Security policies are determined by the
container. Support for secure connection through HTTPS is
supported.
- Easy
deployment - the viewer can be deployed from the server as an
applet, by using Webstart, or as a standalone binary.

Server Deployment Requirements
The viewer will operate under all platforms that support JDK 5+ and
any JSP 1.2/Servlet 2.3 compliant application server. The viewer
supports all popular open source and commercial application servers
including Apache Tomcat, Glass Fish, JBoss, BEA WebLogic, IBM
Websphere, Oracle AS, and Sun Java System Application
Server. Please review the product documentation for
details, and a list of certified application servers.
Licensing Information
The viewer is licensed on a per-server and per site basis. INT
Professional Services are available to provide enhancements or
customization to the viewer, including interfaces to proprietary
