and Petris Technology Collaborate to Provide Web-based Well Log Viewers
Houston, TX (May
17, 2004): Interactive Network Technologies (INT) has entered into
an agreement with Petris Technology to provide web-based well log viewers
as part of the PetrisWINDS Enterprise system. The viewers will be fully
integrated, providing interaction with PWE data and services.
PetrisWINDS is a
vendor-neutral, web-based data management application environment offering
a seamless and easy-to-use interface for access to key Oil and Gas data
via the Internet. PetrisWINDS Enterprise provides a robust set
of services that guarantee data transfers, security, and data integrity
for well, seismic, engineering, land, and production records. PetrisWINDS
Enterprise enables integration of structured and unstructured data,
enables automation of workflows and provides metadata cataloging for
results capture and knowledge management. With the INT well log
viewer, users have support for multiple wells display; cross plot capabilities;
and basic evaluation functionalities such as area curve filling, lithology
presentation, annotation, well marker interactions, and zooming.
The INT log viewer
brings visualization to the user without the need for complex application

The viewer is built
upon components of INT's J/GeoToolkit, which delivers high performance
graphics capabilities for E&P applications and allows software developers
to create sophisticated data visualization solutions while taking advantage
of the ease-of-use and platform independence of Java. INT also provides
viewers for seismic and WITSML data, and will interface them to PetrisWINDS
Enterprise according to market interest.
