Releases GeoToolkit 4.0
Houston,
TX (June 26, 2008): Interactive Network Technologies, Inc.
(INT), a leading
developer of high performance graphics components, announces
availability of GeoToolkit 4.1. This release adds many new and exciting
features, delivering high performance graphics capabilities needed for
Oil and Gas E&P applications being written in the C++ language.
Developed for data visualization in upstream Oil
and Gas, GeoToolkit is a package of C++ libraries including support for
specialized Seismic, Contour, WellLog, and Well Schematic
displays. GeoToolkit also provides cutting edge features such
as multi-language support, sophisticated vector object
handling, scaled display and hardcopy (including CGM output,)
and is integrated with Trolltech's Qt3 and Qt4
environments. GeoToolkit components promote reusability and
consistency across applications and allow developers to focus on their
core technologies rather than spend time writing data displays.
GeoToolkit is available for Linux, Solaris, and Microsoft Windows.
Some of the highlights for this new release
include:
- New! Wellschematic display libraries for Qt 4
- New! Chart libraries for Qt4 (general purpose charting)
- Added OpenGL 2D rendering for Qt 4
- Improved performance of deviated well log displays
- Improved support for Internationalization
- Added support for Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2008
