awaited upgrade to the company's original 100% Java toolkit, J/Carnac. "INT customers

J/CarnacPro
extends the capability of Java 2D™ to provide developers with a rich and powerful
environment for developing graphical applications. An easy to use, high-performance
toolkit, J/CarnacPro integrates well into applications built upon the Swing™ GUI
and provides a powerful infrastructure for developing high-level industry specific
graphic components.
The
release of J/CarnacPro 1.1 boasts a variety of advanced features including:

to maximize performance from Java 2D, including attribute caching, advanced damage
repair control, extensive buffering control, optimized spatial retrieval of shapes,
and dynamic rendering of complex shapes
- Built-in
interactive shape editors and GUI components, including a colormap editor, an
advanced print GUI component and attribute editors for shapes
- A
building block for high level components such as J/Contour, J/GIS, J/GeoToolkit
and Data Interface Modules
