Releases INTViewer 4.1
INTViewer 4.1 features new functionality that facilitates rapid analysis and QC of geophysical data, and enhancements to its plugin architecture that increase extensibility for a wider array of technologies.
HOUSTON, TEXAS (July 1, 2010) – INT™ announced today the general availability of INTViewer™ 4.1, the latest version of its innovative data visualization application and development platform for seismic analysis in the Upstream Exploration and Production (E&P) industry. INTViewer 4.1 is designed to be easy-to-learn, support large data sets, and reduce the preparation time to share data and analysis results with peers, management, and partners.
INTViewer 4.1 leverages the power of the Netbeans Rich Client Platform, which provides a standards-based environment for creating and managing plugin functionality. Featuring a comprehensive API for access and control of menus, data, and custom displays, INTViewer can be used as a framework for customized seismic analysis and quality control workflows
Highlights for this new release include:
- New plugin update center with many optional plug-ins that can be easily downloaded/updated through the web. New plug-ins include Signal/Noise Analysis, Butterworth filter, spherical divergence, SMT data reader and many more
- Enhanced 3D capabilities, allowing multiple concurrent 3D windows integrated with the INTViewer desktop
- Greatly improved the refresh rate for cross-section and time slices in 3D. Added capability to update view while moving cross-section and time slices. Slices can be moved interactively using the Ctrl key
- Greatly enhanced Spectrum Analysis capabilities, allowing multiple spectrum types and comparisons between spectrum from various plots
- Significant improvements for the GIS display, including better support for projections when loading shape files and improved labeling
- Enhanced API to develop custom plug-ins, including manipulating 3D objects and implementing your own layers and windows
