Releases INTViewer 3.2
INTViewer
3.2 features new functionality that facilitates rapid analysis of
geological and geophysical data for quality control sessions, prospect
reviews, and joint venture presentations.
HOUSTON,
TEXAS (Feb 12, 2009) – INT™ announced today the general
availability of INTViewer™ 3.2, the latest version of its affordable
geology and geophysics (G&G) data visualization tool
for the Upstream Exploration and Production (E&P) industry.
INTViewer 3.2 is designed to be easy-to-learn, support
large data sets, and reduce the presentation preparation time
to share data and analysis results with peers, management, and partners.
This release delivers significant new
functionality including:
- Option to load a seismic volume in memory for
faster display in 3D views
and to
visualize time slices without a transpose.
- Visualization of 2D lines and Pre-stack data
in 3D display
- Support for ProMAX data format.
- Display of trace header values synchronized
with seismic display.
- Ability to generate a map of header
attributes from a volume.
- The Indexing wizard now let users index
multiple files in one session.
- New horizon loader for ASCII column formatted
horizon files.
Other features have been added to make the INTViewer even easier to
use. In many windows a right click will bring up a list of options to
perform many operations such as creating perpendicular views and
loading or saving of data. Preferences settings have been enhanced to
allow users to set the default attributes when creating new seismic
views - a tremendous time saver.
INTViewer is a visualization solution for use on
virtually any Windows, Mac, Linux, or UNIX operating system and is
designed for multiple environments including laptops, workstations,
visualization team rooms, visualization centers, or conference
rooms. INTViewer also provides an open, extendable architecture that
makes it possible for geoscientists, asset management teams, and
companies to customize the visualization framework to match specific
workflow needs through proprietary plug-ins and utilities.
