INT Unveils 100% Pure Java Graphics Toolkit

Houston, TX (December 3, 1999): Interactive Network Technologies, Inc. (INT), the leading developer of high performance JavaTM based graphics toolkits announced the release of its J/GeoToolkit, a 100 percent pure java graphics toolkit for the oil and gas industry.

Designed for exploration and production, J/GeoToolkit is a supplemental library to J/Carnac, INT's Java 2D toolkit. J/GeoToolkit provides a simple-to-learn, extensible architecture that allows programmers to rapidly develop graphical applications. Extending the benefits of Java by providing developers with a set of graphics components that are feature-rich, powerful and easy to use, J/GeoToolkit supplies libraries for display of seismic data, logs, basemaps and XY-plots.

INT’s J/GeoToolkit consists of four main components - J/Carnac, the underlying 2D graphics functionality required by geoscience tools; J/Plot, classes for displaying axes, annotations, grid lines and scroll bars; J/Seismic, classes for displaying seismic data in geoscience applications; and J/WellLog, classes for visualizing well log data in geoscience applications.

J/GeoToolkit is available for evaluation on Windows 98/NT and Unix flavors.
