Extending the capability
of Java 2D™, J/CarnacPro integrates well into applications built upon the Swing™
GUI and provides developers with a powerful environment for developing graphical
applications for data visualization. J/CarnacPro is used by customers across multiple
industries to develop high-level industry specific components for scientific and

2.0 boasts significant performance enhancements, including new geometry and attribute
editors for interactive editing of graphical objects, extensive printing and print

- Geometry
editing package- provides support for interactive editing of shapes, including
moving, scaling, and editing of points for polyline-based objects. The new demo,
ShapeDemo, demonstrates the versatility of the editing package.
- Attribute
editing package- provides support for creating GUI components to edit shape attributes,
including color, lines size and style, font, fill, and others.
- Printing
support- offers new print API plus added GUI for controlling printing and includes
support for print preview.
- Smart
cache option- enables toolkit to automatically switch between full cache and window
cache options to optimize memory usage.
